Former Stone Ridge Christian High School standout Caitlyn Cole led the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves to a 4-3 victory over the Chadron State Eagles in their NCAA Division II softball game held Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m.
CSC Softball Field hosted the matchup, marking the fourth game between these teams this season. In their last competition earlier on Sunday, the ThunderWolves suffered a 17-6 defeat against the Eagles.
Cole contributed three hits in four at-bats, scored four runs, drove in one run, and drew one walk.
The ThunderWolves are set to play again on Saturday, Feb. 28, at noon at Rawlings Softball Complex against the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets.
