On Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m., Caitlyn Cole, a former standout from Stone Ridge Christian High School, and her current team, the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, were narrowly defeated 3-2 by the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets in an NCAA Division II softball contest.
The game was held at Rawlings Softball Complex and marked the second meeting between the ThunderWolves and the Yellow Jackets this season. In the previous matchup earlier that day, the ThunderWolves secured a 6-2 victory.
Cole contributed with one hit in three at-bats, driving in two runs and earning one walk.
Next, the ThunderWolves are set to face Black Hills State again at the Rawlings Softball Complex on Sunday, March 1, with first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m.
