On Sunday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m., the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, featuring former Stone Ridge Christian High School standout Caitlyn Cole, were defeated 17-6 by the Chadron State Eagles in an NCAA Division II softball contest.
The matchup was held at CSC Softball Field and marked the third meeting between these teams this season. The ThunderWolves previously edged the Eagles 6-5 on Saturday, Feb. 21.
Cole contributed two hits in four at-bats and tallied one run batted in.
CSU Pueblo is set to face Chadron State Eagles again Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m. at CSC Softball Field.
