At 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, featuring former Stone Ridge Christian High School standout Cali Cole, secured a 4-3 win in their NCAA Division II softball contest against the Chadron State Eagles.
The contest was held at the CSC Softball Field, marking the fourth meeting between the teams this season. In an earlier matchup on the same day, the ThunderWolves fell to the Eagles, 17-6.
Cole tallied 2 hits in 5 at-bats, scored once and accounted for 2 RBIs.
The ThunderWolves are next scheduled to take the field Saturday, Feb. 28, at noon at the Rawlings Softball Complex against the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets.
