Former Stone Ridge Christian High School standout Cali Cole helped lead her college squad, the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, to a 9-3 win against the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets in their NCAA Division II softball game held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 1.
Rawlings Softball Complex served as the venue for the game, marking the ThunderWolves’ third contest this season against the Yellow Jackets. The previous day, on Saturday, Feb. 28, Black Hills State edged out a close 3-2 win over CSU Pueblo.
Cole notched two hits out of three at-bats and tallied one run batted in during the matchup.
CSU Pueblo is set to face Black Hills State once more at Rawlings Softball Complex on Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m.
