On Friday, March 7, former Hilmar High School standout Cooper King’s current college team, the Central Arkansas Bears, won 11-10 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.
The game took place at Bear Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Purple Aces this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 4 p.m. at Bear Stadium against Evansville Purple Aces.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
