On Friday, Jan. 31, former Madera High School standout Camile Nunez’s current college team, the Midwestern State Mustangs, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at Scrap Yard Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Mustangs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. at Scrap Yard Sports Complex against Saint Martin’s Saints.
