On Sunday, March 30, former Madera High School standout Isaiah Monge’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.
The game took place at CSUSM Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Broncos this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at Seawolf Diamond against Sonoma State Seawolves.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
