On Saturday, March 8, former Madera High School standout Kailea Ricks’ current college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, won 17-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Merrimack Warriors.

The game took place at Buckeye Field. This was their first matchup against the Warriors this season.

The Buckeyes’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. at Buckeye Field against Kent State Golden Flashes.
