On Wednesday, April 9, former Los Banos High School standout Matalie Greenwood’s current college team, the Cornell Big Red, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Syracuse Orange.
The game took place at Niemand Robison Field. This was their first matchup against the Orange this season.
The Big Red’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. at Niemand Robison Field against Princeton Tigers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
