On Friday, Feb. 28, former Los Banos High School standout Matalie Greenwood’s current college team, the Cornell Big Red, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their first matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
The Big Red’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12:30 p.m. at The Diamond of UMBC against Rhode Island Rams.
