On Friday, Feb. 7, former Madera High School standout Erika Perez’s current college team, the Creighton Bluejays, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons.
The game took place at St. John Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Mastodons this season.
The Bluejays’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 2:45 p.m. at St. John Stadium against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
