On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Golden Valley High School standout Vanessa Saltos’ current college team, the Humboldt State Lumberjacks, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saint Martin’s Saints.

The game took place at Pedretti Park. This was their first matchup against the Saints this season.

The Lumberjacks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 12 p.m. at Bear River Recreation Center against San Francisco State Gators.
