On Thursday, Feb. 20, former Golden Valley High School standout Vanessa Saltos’ current college team, the Humboldt State Lumberjacks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the San Francisco State Gators.

The game took place at Bear River Recreation Center. This was their first matchup against the Gators this season.

The Lumberjacks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2:35 p.m. at Bear River Recreation Center against San Francisco State Gators.
