Census Bureau: More men than women in Merced County in 2020

Of the 273,661 people living in Merced County in 2020, 49.5 percent (135,433) were women and 50.5 percent (138,228) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Merced Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 3,241. In the 65 and over age range, there were 16,747 females and 14,018 males.
