On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Hilmar High School standout Cooper King’s current college team, the Central Arkansas Bears, lost 11-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northwestern State Demons.
The game took place at Brown–Stroud Field. This was their third matchup against the Demons this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. at Bear Stadium against Missouri State Bears.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
