On Wednesday, April 9, former Madera High School standout Kailea Ricks’ current college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, won 12-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Pittsburgh Panthers.
The game took place at Vartabedian Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Buckeyes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. at Nittany Lion Softball Park against Penn State Nittany Lions.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
