City of Calabasas issued the following announcement on Nov 24.
The City of Calabasas has announced a number of open appointments on a variety of the City’s Commissions. Commissioners act in an advisory capacity to the City Council.
There are 2 open appointments with the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center (plus 2 alternate members), 1 with the Art in Public Places Committee, 5 with the Communications & Technology Commission, 5 with the Environmental Commission, 5 with the Historic Preservation Commission (plus 1 member from the Calabasas-Las Virgenes Historical Society), 3 with the Library Commission, 5 with the Parks Recreation & Education Commission (plus 1 from the Arts Council and 1 from the Senior Center Advisory Board), 5 with the Planning Commission (plus 1 alternate), 5 with the Public Safety Commission (plus 1 member from CERP); and 5 with the Traffic and Transportation Commission.
Applicants must be residents of the City of Calabasas and electors during their respective terms of office. Commission applications are available at https://www.cityofcalabasas.com/home/showdocument?id=134.
Any resident interested in being considered for appointment to any of the above Commissions must submit an application by Friday, December 11, 2020, to the office of the City Clerk.
