Project Overview

The City of Agoura Hills is currently in the preliminary design process of a linear park that will comprise a portion of the City's Medea/Palo Comado Storm Water Treatment Plant, Linear Park, and Wetlands Improvement Project.

 The linear park will be located on top of the existing Los Angeles County runoff channel running along Agoura Road east of Cornell Road. This location is in an ideal area to serve a portion of Agoura Hills that currently has no park land south of the 101 Freeway.

 The Linear Park Project's main goals and benefits are to:

• Encourage water re-use and sustainability by using underground storm water storage tanks to irrigate the park.
• Create recreational opportunities and increase pedestrian, equestrian, and bike path connectivity for visitors and residents.
• Bolster the City's urban greening efforts by transforming the existing concrete channel into a natural and native recreation area.

Community Involvement

The City of Agoura Hills is seeking community input for the Linear Park Project! We would like to know what you would like to see incorporated into the design of the new park. The City needs input on the types of recreational features, amenities, and design elements that would best serve the residents and visitors of Agoura Hills.
