NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Chowchilla is accepting applications for potential candidates to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of a newly appointed Council Member.
As COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations surge and ICU capacity declines in Los Angeles County and across the Southern California Region, the Los Angeles County Health Officer Order has been modified to align with the State Regional Stay Home Order to prevent crowding and mingling among non-household members and overwhelming our healthcare system.

Governor Newsome announced today that California will impose a limited stay-at-home order on some regions of the state if capacity in their ICU units falls below 15%. So far, none of the regions have triggered the stay-at-home order, though every part of the state is expected to at some point in December.
